The IAAPS Institute at the University of Bath, in partnership with Enterprise Mobility and the West of England Mayoral Combined Authority invites you to take part in a research incubator designed to identify and develop collaborative research opportunities around the theme of car clubs

What can you expect from attending the incubator?

 

This incubator will bring together a broad range of participants from academia, industry and local government to discuss identify and develop collaborative research opportunities in the following thematic areas:

    • Stakeholders: The role of the private and public sector

    • Transport Strategy and Policy: Mandates and incentives for car club usage

    • Car Club Infrastructure: Current bay siting methods and improvements.

    • Behaviour Change: Effective strategies and messaging.

    • Alternative Revenue Generation

    • Vehicle Technologies

This event provides a platform for you to frame and discuss complex research problems, share ideas, and establish valuable connections that may lead to partnerships and collaborations

Outputs will focus on identifying collaborative opportunities to maximise the potential of car clubs to decarbonise transport across the West of England.

These opportunities could include:

    • Joint academic-partner research proposals to research funding councils

    • Short-term research projects, scoping projects and consultancy

    • Short-term placements for researchers and PhD students
