In March, IAAPS held their first Research Incubator (RI) of 2025, on the topic of Car Clubs as an alternative model for car ownership. The RI tackled the problems rooted in transport and mobility, generating new questions that have not yet been asked.

This year’s AAPS CDT Annual Conference has been a roaring success. Those who took part fedback to us that they have learned valuable skills to take with them during their academic careers, made connections and relationships to other academics and industrial partners, and found they could present their work in an inclusive and supportive manner. We feel confident that this will act as a stepping stone for next year’s conference to further innovate and take the conference experience to new levels, and we cannot wait to see that come to life!

Earlier this year, I was pleased to be awarded an AAPS CDT International Travel Grant, to fund a 6-week travel placement. Having completed my Undergraduate, MRes, and PhD all at Bath – I was excited to experience the dynamics of another University!
