AAPS CDT Co-Ordinator
Helen joined AAPS CDT in 2024 as Centre Co-Ordinator and is responsible for administering the day to day running of the Centre, facilitating the delivery of the training programme, the administration of the recruitment and admissions process and supporting events and activities.
Helen joined Bath University in 2021, working in the Academic Registry as a Registry Services Assistant providing essential administrative and support while delivering outstanding customer service to both staff and students across the University. This position cover the entire student lifecycle, from registration to graduation, and include responsibilities in key areas such as student records, examinations, graduation, academic standards, and departmental operations. She also completed a 6 month secondment to Academic Quality and Standards, supporting the assurance of academic quality and standards through a comprehensive policy framework.
She has worked in a variety of administrative positions in a range of businesses: pharmaceutical, engineering, defense, publishing, local government, telecommunications, sales and charity, and has run her own business. She spent a year out of traditional work, working on various rewilding and park gardening projects and providing family support.
In her spare time Helen enjoys tennis, scuba diving, reading, mainly science fiction, gardening and walking with her family and dog.
