Are electric vehicles as green as we think?

Joris Simaitis, Cohort 2, is giving a lecture for the IET about the environmental sustainability of electric propulsion "Are electric vehicles as green as we think?" Seen as a green replacement for combustion vehicles, electric vehicles (EVs) have become controversial due to their questionable sustainability. This includes outsourced emissions, human rights violations, and uncertain end-of-life management. This talk will uncover the complex challenges behind EVs, introduce Life Cycle Assessment methods, and discuss how sustainable transport can be achieved.
